OK, please don't all shout at once. I KNOW I should know this, but…

The closest match I could find for this was ITC Tabula, but the '&' is different. The site sample is not quite big enough to see whether the strokes of the C and S taper the same way.

If this lettering is from British official government documents, it is very possible that this is not a commercially available font.

Hi Mike, thanks for looking. I'm sure I've seen those odd tapering terminals somewhere else.

Somebody at work reminded me of this other logo (for a UK rail passenger service)which could easily be the lower case.

EDIT: OK, so how do I add an attachment to a reply?

Not yet. Images are coming — talked to Jared last week. Code is already in, they just need to work out a few quirks. Your prayers will be answered! :-)

Thanks Yves, can't wait ;)

So if I want to offer another illustration do I need to start another thread?

Richard

Richard, To post an image later on maybe try to temporary upload the sample to an image hosting site, like ImageShack, YourIMG, TinyPic or even Flickr, and link to it from within this thread.?

Good call Dav, thanks.

Look here for the other logo I mentioned, and also c2c, another UK train company, part of the same group as wagn.

By the way, how do you format these links to open a new browser window?

Richard, Just add 'target="_blank"' to your link..

Looks slightly Unger'ish.?

The Inland Revenue typeface is a rather rushed (rediculous deadline causing near nervous breakdown;-) modification of a typeface called Modena that I've been working on for some years. I'll finish it this year.

Well that seems pretty definitive, thanks Miles.

Thanks for the formatting tip Dav, I'm sure we'll all get used to things here soon.

Richard

Hi Miles, thanks for popping by and clearing this up.

BTW Richard I always use the target="new" tag, but don't ask me where I get that from. :-)
