1940-50's Headline newspaper font? Help!?

I was gonna go for Franklin Gothic but the C looks more like Helvetica, but the R is not Helvetica, so I don't know!?!
Does anybody recognize this?!

I was also thinking maybe M.F. Benton's 'News Gothic' but condensed?!
