Crane Monogram Font Single flower in each letter

jtkenne3

This is a font that was used for a monogram for a baby announcement that was produced by Cranes. I'm trying to laser cut it in wood and need the font to do so. Thanks for your help.

AFAIK this is not a retail font.
It could be a modern hybrid of styles produced for Cranes.
The base letters are in a style developed in the early 19th century, which is known as "Tuscan" and is characterized by the fishtail terminals.
The clean line rationalist structure and minimalist flower ornamentation reminds me of some 18th century initials.
If you only need the letters _L_, _C_ and _I_ your best solution might be to have them scanned to make vector outlines for your laser cutter.
Needless to say, I could be wrong and someone has made this into a font. All I can say is that I have not seen anything like it in the sources, both printed and online, that I usually check.

Thanks so much for your help. It was easier to just vectorize it in illustrator.

No match or name either and probably too late. Anyway, to me, the base looks like some sort of refined Figgins Tuscan or Bujardet. Even if you're clearly not after that, dropping here some alternatives I've encountered with during my search: MFC Budding, Manoir and Chaplet, Azalleia and Menina Poderosa Ornaments (foliage and floral ornaments, close to the ones of your sample)

Found some more letters.

The Crane company seems to hide this alphabet from public view.
So far we have seen B, C, E, F, L, M, and W.
Has anyone seen any more letters?

As I said in my first post, this is a hybrid of styles.
A thin formal Tuscan. MFC Budding has some similarity to this type of letterform, but is far from a match, except for the top of the _L_.

Large spear shaped serifs. These remind me of the ones in Bodoni Poster Condensed Regular
