Guiding Light 1991-2002 logo

Daniel Bent

Hi, does anybody know what is the name of the font used in the old Guiding Light logo? A reply will be appreciated! Thanks!

Nobody knows what it is? I'm guessing it's a custom-made logo.

Probably lettering.
Closest fonts I found are:
Ambule BT https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/bitstream/ambule-bt/ which has a similar _N_ and _G_.
FF DIN Cond Black http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/fontfont/ff-din/ which has a similar _G_. Flip the _U_ for _N_. Similar Engschrift http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/urw/engschrift/

All letters have generally similar shapes: Galerie 2 Bold

It reminds me also of Techno: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/apple/techno/

Okay! Thanks for your suggestions guys!

Found another similar one: http://shinntype.com/typefaces/eunoia/

Good find Riccardo.
Inserting letters from the regular [_D_ and _L_] into the round version makes a text which is a fair match for the letter-forms

I think I will go with Eunoia. Thanks guys!

I found another similar font. This one is very similar if you modify the "T": http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/t26/lithia/bold/

Lithia has less contrast than Eunoia, which seems to be a better match to GUIDING LIGHT .
Note that Lithia Bold Small Caps

gives a wider result. Have to edit the _T_ and _L_, drop the center section on _G_ and flip _U_ to make _N_.
Otherwise, is it a closer match to GUIDING LIGHT than the upper case?
