Sans Serif Logotype

cewang999

I think this might be customized. But still would like to know what typeface is the base.

The O looks like Gotham but the S is definitely not. the S to me looks like Helvetica but customized the terminals.

Any thoughts? Thank you!

_S_ looks distorted by horizontal stretching.

Coop Expanded by Dalton Maag is very close, but I can’t find a source for it:

Isn’t Coop an House Ind. thing (http://www.houseind.com/fonts/typographyofcoop)? Maybe DaMa changed the name.

Populous website uses Proxima Nova, a good match for all letters except /S (obvious) which actually reminds me a lot of... Arial (closer look to /S Extra Bold here). And Arial is also used on their website... Coincidence?
Ready-to-go option: Union

Thanks for these great thoughts! It just occurred to me that the R in the trademark looks like Gotham. Seems like this logo is done by more than one person?

... or Proxima Nova and you should end up with 2 fonts only :)
