Hi all,

Would love to find the type used here, as seen in "FLORES NEGRAS," "VERDE LUNA" and "ECLIPSE."'

Found this image on Tumblr — have no more info.

Thanks!

Only found one digital typeface with that distinctive |R|. Similar, but not a dead-on match:
http://www.myfonts.com/search/Matamoros/fonts/

It appears to be an old woodtype face that may not have been revived digitally. Looking through old type specimens, and will report back if I find anything....

Not finding a match yet.

Another digital typefaces with very similar proportions and thick/thin contrast:
http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/ef/radiant/ [add serifs and customize the |R|]

Not too close: Matamoros (Nick Curtis) or JasonWood (Dan Solo).

Somewhere closer:
McCollough font

Some light from this previous discussion by Mike F...

[...]McCollough for me, Don.
Designed about 1898 by Gustav F Schroeder for ATF and - according to this Klingspor Museum PDF - originally spelled McCullagh.

... and Don

Matamoros NF is based on a similar but different font -- note for example the lazy s counters in _O_ and _Q_, similar to Inland Foundry's _Inland_ -- from circa 1900 called Jason Wood by Dan X. Solo and sold by him in digital form with one of the Dover Books. Used for the title of the Solotype catalog.

So probably in your case McCullagh at its origin.

Awesome. Thank you!
