1940's Watterson Radio dialplate

Damashki

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to identify what font(s) were used on this dial plate for a Watterson Radio that my dad is working on restoring, and having a hard time pinning down the exact font. It seemed similar to Futura with a few differences here and there. The radio was produced around the 1940's before the US entered World War II, so there weren't many of them made:

I have the dial plate scanned if that helps out with identifying what font(s) was used on it. You can click on the image to see its full size:

In the event that it's actually made specifically for those radios, is there something similar that could be used? Thanks for your time!

Almost all letterings for gauge/dial are custom/hand-done/un-digitized.
0123456789: 'gaspipe' close to Bolt ITC; alternatives: Pacifico, Elephantmen/Great and Tall, American Captain, Avengeance, Earth A.D., ARB 66 Neon, CFB1 Captain Narrow, Drop Case, Home Room, FF Motel/Matinee/GoldenGate Gothic,
AMERICAN/BROADCAST/POLICE/AMATEUR/FOREIGN: very 'Futura'; you may like Neutraface, Metallophile and Uomo
WATTERSON: even if that's not completely it, I like the approach of Dan Cassaro with his Highway typeface

Perhaps the closest to the numbers is Comicraft's Elephantmen

which was already suggested by Ryuk.
If you can edit fonts a parallel line stroke to lighten the weight would make it even closer.

Thank you both for your help! This helps me out quite a bit. =)
