Hello - My client is interested in having a handwritten font created. Does anyone have any recommendations on finding a designer who has expertise in this area? Thanks in advance!
Typophile
designer specializing in custom handwritten fonts
There are several.
First one I could think of is Nick Cooke:

Anyway, you could want to post on either the General Discussions or Design sections of the forum.
Thanks, riccard0! Nick Cooke's work looks great. I'll also repost in General Discussions and Design to see if I get any other recommendations.
Allison, Nick Cooke is highly qualified, as are some other designers who also frequent Typophile.
If this won't be an overly complex replication of handwriting please also consider my services: hpapazian at gmail dot com
Bonus: I'm in LA.
