Alpha Chi patch

Laura

Can anybody help me ID the font used for Alpha Chi?

That doesn't look like a font was used.

For the lowercase, perhaps Zimple Black would work?

I'm not finding anything that's even close to both the A and C.

As for _AX_ I doubt this is from a font as such. BTW the _X_ looks upside down. Whether this is the result of intent or just poor drafting, I don't know.
If you want to use a font to make the letters consider a combination of
ITC Serif Gothic Roman

compress the width and cut a stencil effect on _A_.

_Alpha Chi_ is a very simplified Old English for _A_ and _C_
The _C_ is very similar to this old set of iron on letters

Nothing digital that even approximates the look.
One could try to simplify something like Engravers Old English http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/mti/engravers-old-english-mt/
For the lowercase one could modify something like Morris Gothic http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/hihretrofonts/morris/ or P22 Morris Troy http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/p22/morris/
A far from satisfactory answer, but this is as good as it gets...
