Logotype that's part of JM logo lockup

simoncini

Looking to identify the typeface used in the JM (Johns Manville) logo lockup. It looks similar to Frutiger, but alas, it's not. That uppercase “J” breaking below the baseline got me in the right ballpark, but I suspect I'm just missing the obvious. Thanks in advance for any direction / help.

Font:
Lucida Sans Bold (manually slanted)
Solved By:

All letters, except /a & /M looks very close (if not an exact match) to a manually slanted Lucida Sans (Bold)
The problem with Lucida is that /a has a curly terminal and /M middle is not touching the baseline.

Thanks fvilanakis. I reviewed Lucida Sans Bold as well, and noticed the same inconsistencies. Stroke weights are off for the lowercase v (right side is thinner than specimen), but that might be one cut vs. another. I suspect (and as you mentioned re the manually slanting) that the letterforms have been altered.

Thanks for the assistance.
