If you want a look like this it’s usually best to hire a lettering artist, not modify a font. Many can do this, perhaps more affordably than you think.

Finally, did a complete round but came up with no match. Adding some more alternatives I've encounbtered with during the process: Hollyhock, Bombshell, Sketch Script, Anna Clara, Gemmadonati, Asterism (more Great Lakes Lettering?), some Adorn, Santa's Pen (interesting lowercases), Eurotypo Kumma and Aleka, Madelinette (more Tart Workshop), Emerson, Perron No 2, Garden Catchwords (interesting one even if it does not come as a keyable font)
