San Serif metal letters

TheCyclist

This might be a stretch of a request. These are metal letters used to identify the building I live in. It looks like it could be Helvetica, but I figured some of you on here could point out why it's NOT Helvetica. I appreciate any help!

why it's NOT Helvetica

|R|

Q: "why it's NOT Helvetica."
A: At least five letters, _G_ with no spur, _R_ with straight leg, and _C_, _D_ and _O_ with a vertical section in the curved strokes. The letter _S_ could pass for Helvetica, Arial etc.
The letters have some similarities to DIN, except for the _S_.
Might not be a standard font.

These letters look like they were probably made by architects or engineers, not type designers. My bet is not a font.

Agree with all previous comments. I tried to gather some fonts that could mimic this lettering and focus my search on "DIN-like with Helvetica-ish /S". Here are the ones I ended up with: Pilcrow ITF, Brownfox Brutal and Institut, Predige, Neusa, 4F Bond and Meeneralca, Hill, Dillon FS, Palestina, Technik
