Scirpt with median spurs

Feldspar

Hey guys,

Client requested an "Americana Script". Found these jpgs while looking around google that fit the bill but, no luck locating the font.

Letterheads Indian Script is the closest thing I've turned up so far.

Saloonkeeper is a script with median spurs, but only on the capital letters. Not a match to your samples:

Could it be custom by this business?:

Indian Script by Letterhead fonts is indeed close, but still not an exact match:

That site is where I found the font. Haven't located it anywhere else. Might be unique to the woodworking / sign making industry somehow.

I just came across Appleton. Similar "feel" - with median spurs.

Appleton is close.
I think this is another usage of the font in question, the no spur variation seen in Hanson above.

Appleton does have the median spurs, but I'm seeing a different lowercase o and s.

Clasico does appear to be the same typeface as the original sample. The logo was designed by Max Kelly, who seems to use the font a great deal:

Perhaps you can contact him and ask what the typeface is....

What about Packard Script?

Nice work guys. Thats it. Thanks.

Feldspar, no need--Ryuk has correctly identified this as Packard Script, by Letterhead Fonts (see above).

Well, Mr. Kelly is certainly getting his $199 out of the font (and shame on the sign company for claiming it as proprietary and not identifying it properly).

Ha. Indeed he is all about it.
Thanks again.

Good find Ryuk. Dave Correll did a good job in expanding the old Packard car nameplate into a script family. Of course the car never needed spurs. That was for horses. Giddy up Ol V8 :)
Don

Nice find, Ryuk.

Kevin - Packard Script is $56. I guess it's supposed to be a deal to get 3 more fonts for $199.
