Serif — Russian music score

Emma-L

Hello,
wondering what this font is called?
Thanks in advance!

Font:
Bazhanov
Solved By:

I think Svetlana (http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/paratype/svetlana/) comes close.
Or, even better, Bazhanov (http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/paratype/bazhanov/), which is the original display cut.

EDIT: Don, your posts have more edits than a controversial Wikipedia entry! ;-)

And in Svetlana

Not a lot of difference.
Don

Ricardo, it's just the quest for perfection. I have my own Socratic debates :)
On balance I would recommend Bazhanov since the sample image is titling.
Don

Agreed on Bazhanov (I just found Svetlana first).

P.S.: if you aim for perfection, you maybe would like to add a |c| to my name... ;-)

BTW the Cyrillic letters have more flair than the Roman ones. Compare the Cyrillic _К_ with the Roman _K_ and the Cyrillic _Я_ with the Roman _R_.
Don

Opps! Apologies Riccardo. & yes you had Svetlana before I did. All I had first was Bazhanov. Not that it makes any difference in the real world beyond the font detective game. :)
Don

I meant I found Svetlana, then edited my post to add Bazhanov (found looking at Svetlana's description).
I didn't want by any means to score a point or anything!
