Old "Diet Coke" Serif Typeface

manifold

Hi,
I was hoping could help me ID this serif font form an old Diet Coke logo.
Thanks!

Appears to be garden-variety Times New Roman Bold:

Your sample most likely predates the digital type era, so some details (for instance, the angle of the stroke end on the lower curve of the C and the upper serif on the k) won't be a spot-on match.

Thank you! That looks about right. I didn't even think of comparing it to good old Times New Roman.

Whoever set it did a great job of making a text face look good at a display size....

TimesEighteen LT Roman (Bold) from Linotype to be exact.

Well done, Bob (yes, I was just too lazy to cycle through all the iterations of Times):

This solve should go to Bob--I only identified the general family, not the exact font.
