San Serif News Paper Headlines 1961

Alfredo Sauce

I am looking to identify this news paper headline font. This photo is of a news paper clipping from west coast of New Zealand in 1961.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

My first thoughts were Metro or Tempo, but neither is a match.

Anyone have access, or a link, to phototypesetting specimen books (circa 1960)?
