Hollow Font Style

Hi, I was wondering how do I turn a regular bold font into a hollow font where all you see is the outline of the text as pictured in my text, I use adobe photoshop cs6 and I often wonder how its done or if its a technique used elsewhere.

Select the letterform(s) and then delete fill and use Stroke for your outline selection.

Hi, thanks for your reply I attempted to delete the text it came up with an error I'll need to find a youtube video, good to know its possible.

You need to flatten text before delete - make it into pixels.
