Please can someone have a go at identifying this font from a single letter X. Someone has added some slits to it and I think it was originally solid. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks

This is probably modified by lengthening the upper left & bottom right leg of /x.
If this is the case, Ethnocentric by Ray Larabie [Typodermic, 1999] could be a good starting point [the regular & italic weights are free].
