Hands On The Sigmund Freud Typeface: Making A Font For Your Shrink

Harald Geisler

Hi there,

I just published my first article for Smashing Magazine.
I’ll explain the process of creating a handwriting font exemplary on the Sigmund Freud Typeface, based on Freud's Handwriting.

Feedback (here and directly on Smashing Magazine) warmly welcome.

I find especially sensible, and historically meaningful, the inclusion of the kurrent form (even if I cannot read it for the life of me ;).

Thanks :)
