Beautiful serif shop front font

Anyone know what this font is - or can you direct me to a similar one?

It's on an old 60/70s shop front in London. Obviously handpainted (on a painted glass panel, bizarrely).

Would be grateful if anyone knows of a (free) similar font if we can't identify the actual font.

Could be wrong but I see Times...

Concerr with Ryuk on Times. But check Times Bold http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/linotype/times/ closely. The painter might have reduced the serifs on the center stroke of the E. The shadow effect is a basic sign-painter's skill.
