Thanks a lot!

Some of the modern reworkings of noir fonts look a bit "kitschy", unfortunately.

Are there any film noir typefaces available which are authentic and genuinely original, ie. from the 1940's/1950's?

Is film noir different from neo noir?

Those aren’t particularly noir, they’re just bold rough brush lettering.

From what standpoint?
Graphic or story perspective?

The link to your screenshot doesn't work.
Find the actual trailer for The Big Sleep.

The typeface used for the film title is a Latin.

Nota Bene
Film Noir movies use many categories of typefaces.
Do your remember He Walked by Night? It's a typewriter typeface.

Is film noir even associated with particular fonts? I don't think so.

Do a Google image search for "film noir title cards" (without the quotes) and you'll see a wide variety of fonts.
