I'm totally new at this, but my guess is some kind of Garamond. I don't mind being wrong! :) Please be as specific as possible.

Also, if the K requires a specific variation for that tail, please advise.

Could be wrong but to me it looks like Garamond with a customized /K.

I'm feeling like it's probably closest to Granjon LT. Would you concur?

I suspect the letters were then probably all slightly "fixed" when given the embossing look...
