From a Book

From the book "Desiring God" by John Piper.

I just used WhatTheFont, and it appears to be Linotype Sabon Next. Is there a similar font that is likely to be in calibre?
Or, free fonts that are similar which I can download?

It looks like some kind of Garamond
What do you mean by "using it in calibre"?
(sorry, I don't know what "calibre" is... is it a piece of software?)

If the font is embedded in a pdf the font info function in your pdf reader will identify the names of fonts used in the pdf.

Calibre is software, yes. It's for e-book management.
