iSticks... nice. No iSub? Yep, that's really a Newton. A MessagePad 2100 with a Farallon EtherNet card. It runs it's own web server too. Hit it here:

eduardo, yes, i still use it a lot, mainly for cutting stuff out that i need for presentations. for cutting i use a regular surgical skalpel. haven't cut into any of my fingers for some years, thus not bleeding all over a presentation :-)
hrant, i know. the desk is made of wood, my feet are on the wooden floor. the system is mainly for internet radio anyway. i also have a regular hifi system with the subwoofer on the (wooden) floor in my studio, when i need to listen to some Helmet due to frustrating clients. my PS2 is also connected to it. a little GT3 gets my head clear inbetween jobs. i have some serious electro smog up here :-)
He's a friend of mine, a freelance photographer in Maryland named Jonathan Ferguson (http://www.sunforge.com) - I'm not sure where this was shot, though.
David, that strange white thing would be an electric
socket (US) cover... Standard babyproofing gear.
Chris, re: all the Mac workstations, I think all the PC users
are too ashamed of their hardware to show it off. (I'm just
ribbing you PC users, all 40% of you.) Is Steve's workstation
going to represent all the PC users? =)
Compaq is horrible. The only good thing Compaq ever did was reverse engineer the IBM bios to make clone PCs possible...other than that, the whole company should be destroyed.
I would take a picture of my computer/work area, but it is very very messy. And my computer isn't working right now :cries: But, it's NOT windows' fault as far as I can tell! Yay, I'm happy for that, XP actually works. Looks like it's a bad bit of hardware.
Here is the pathetic state of my desk. I just want to get another PC up in here.
Notice the Honey Roasted peanuts next to the minitower... I believe those have been there for about two months. The Mt. Dew bottle under the desk has probably been there for a month. The Code Red is from tonight.
I am a slob. I know this. I'm good at visualizing, though. I close my eyes, and magically I see my room as neat and beautiful.
I'm cleaning tomorrow. Maybe I'll post an "after" picture to prove it.
