Check out Harold's Fonts at Font Bros. web site. He has a monogram font that looks very much like that so it may match.

You are correct that it is a special engraver's font. Some times goes under the name of "Upright Script." See for example:

The upper case is somewhat similar to the lower case of Harold Lohner's Vine MonogramsInline http://www.fontbros.com/families/vine-monograms. Harold notes that "The design was inspired by letters made for machine 'pantograph' engraving."

It's that A that I have never seen before.
But anyway I notice now that the A has been hand (or pantograph) engraved, and that he has modified the "leg" endings compared to the letter set, for example.
I could re-design them but I'm not sure that the engraving machines would be able to read the design. I'll have to try it out.
