Hello Everyone,
I lam curious to know who designed the original Azkidenz Grotesk typeface published by the H. Berthold AG Foundry in 1896. Gunter Gerhard Lange was not born untill 1921.
Thank you

Who designed Akzidenz Grotesk?
Does anyone know the absolute origin of the grotesk typeface family? That beyond Azkidenz.

What Ive found since I posted this inquiry: http://www.designhistory.org/Type_milestones_pages/SansSerif.html
breaks down the history of the sans serif and gives the origin of the grotesk type family.
