what fonts are these?

cb4186

hello, I would like help to try and identify these two fonts, they are originally from an early 90's race car, thank you

Bailey ICS = ITC Eras

Excellent thank you, any ideas what the 'Industrial' font might be? I have been struggling to find one that has the correct looking 'C'

Since its lettering on a racecar, there may be some variation from the original font. The closest I can find is Congress Black Designed by Adrian Williams published by Linotype in 1980.

The counters aka bowls in Congress Black have a more rounded appearance than your lettering, which has something of boxy or squarish effect. I also note that your lettering is wider than Congress Black.

The Elsner+Flake version is very similar to the Linotype but matches at the
Extra Bold weight instead of heavy.

Found it. Should be Proteus.

EDIT: Found it too late.

Agree. Proteus is closer.

That's great, thank you for your help

You're welcome.
