A really modern font to go with Gill Sans

I am making a print book and the brand font is Gill Sans, but I 'd like to give it a very modern look, if possible. Has anyone discovered any really new/modern fonts that share the structure of, yet different enough to combine with Gill Sans?

I have a list of typefaces to combine with Gill Sans already, but I'm not getting the modern look offered by so many of today's fonts. They are: Scalla, Joanna, Swift, perpetua, Whitman, Goudy, Albertina, Aldus, Bembo, Berling, PMN Caecilia, Chaparral, Dante, Garamond, Golden Cockerel, Minion, Palatino, Plantin, Poppl-Pontifex, Caslon.

Verlag by HFJ - sans like Gill but bit more modern.

If you'd like something as British as Gill Sans but very progressive, check out Fenland: http://typographica.org/typeface-reviews/fenland/

But no sans for too much text.

Bojev -- I thank you kindly for the quality reference, but I must combine the type _with_ Gill Sans.

A display face would be acceptable, though not required.

I need to use Gill but want to add a font to make the layout look progressive.

Dunno - it depends a lot on which will be used at what size.
