What, before you even eat?!!

:-)
You know, it would actually be a powerful social statement to eat at Napa Rose without stepping foot in the theme park. :-P

as to the fonts... hm. so familiar. yet no match for all the letters thus far. The N seems to go with Oklahoma, the P and R with Pritchard. still looking....

It's quite possible that Disney 'borrowed' from several styles to make something that is 'new'. I have heard from designers before who worked for them adapting other fonts to be Disney -unique versions.

It's a somewhat generic Art Deco look that I suspect is a composite of several designs.

i think my brain was trying to get to Anna while I saw this. similarity there too.

I actually did some light font work for Disney about a decade ago. Their attitude indeed was -and probably still is- quite cavalier. Which is why I didn't last there.

which is really quite annoying, considering what complete narcs they are about anyone printing or using THEIR work.

What Mike said. It could have started with an art deco style like those Jodie mentioned, then tweaked to match the Arts and Crafts theme of the hotel. The shape of the 'S' is similar to the Rennie Mackintosh type seen on other hotel signage. FWIW, the logo is usually in all caps, the faux small caps seems to be an alternate version.

Thank you all for your help! I appreciate it.
