If you just need the ‘Dairy Queen’ logo, you may be able to find it at ‘Brands of the World’..
( But if its an authorized seller of ‘Dairy Queen’ products, the owner of the store, or you, should also be able to get a useable logo from them directly.? )

I got a logo, all right, but it’s a 200 pixel-wide .jpg (bleh). I googled for a logo and got a better one, but what I really need is the font. I can trace the shapes (letters included) easily enough in Freehand, it’s just time-consuming.

What I’m designing is a vinyl window border that will go across the top of all the store windows, so I’m getting everying in nice clean vectors. Having the font would just speed things up a little.

Did you read my post.? Followed the links.?
You should be able to download an already vectorized version of the ‘Dairy Queen’ logo, from the site mentioned above, ‘Brands of the World’..

( This shall be a direct link to an .eps of the ‘Dairy Queen’ logotype.. )

The Brands of the World site that Dav pointed out has a vector (.eps) version of the logo. If you just need the lettering, you can take it from there.

Oh, and, for an actual ( free ) font, imitating the look; ‘a parody of the classic Dairy Queen logo’; see ‘Padaloma’.. ( I just stumbled upon this, while searching for ‘Dairy Queen Font’, on Google.. )

Pity that Padaloma looks nothing like the logo…

Well.. Sure, Thats a pity..

I did follow the link, but what I need(ed) is more than just a flat picture of the logo. I had to have the lemon-shape and lettering seperate, as I have several elements to combine in different ways.

But it’s done now, thanks for the help anyway.
